What is Digimon?

Everybody has been talking about digimon around the site I just want to know about it.

Well its a lot like pokemon, monters taht roam the world and can be tamed by children. They are in a computer though thus Digimon or "Digital Monster", and there are many games.Another difference: Any digimon can be good,There isnt really any..Strategy as far as moves go but you can only fight with three at a time usally,and The main one we talk about is Digimon world dawn and dusk.

Alot of people would probally love it, so here is a major description kind of the differences between it and pokemon mixed in.

A. All of the games are diffrent for the most part, Now the Ds series has same style game play with a plot, with a few branch offs, but in the main digimon world series, all of the games were totally diffrent in play.

What does digimon stand for?

It stands for Digital Monsters as Ike mentioned.

There can be alot of strategy, but it isn't quite as complicated with EV's and such like pokemon is, and As Ike stated, any digimon can be used in some games.

In my personal opionion, alot of digimon look a bit cooler than pokemon, just a little side note.

Digimon Digivolve, which was just a way of the game designers preventing encouragement of evolution while still having the digimon get bigger.

And most of the digimon discussion on this site is about Digimon World Dusk and Digimon
